Up for auction is a great batch of 6 Hillbilly 78s.The last part of the lot are hard to find records.The first 78 is a 1927 78 by Charlie Poole on Columbia D label # 15184-D.Songs titled Don't Let Your Deal Go Down on one side and has Sunset march on the other side.The Don't Let Your Deal Go Down side has Posey Rorer on Fiddle and Norman Woodlief on Guitar.Don't Let side has light scratches with 10 scratches I can feel with fingernail.Multiple scuff marks with a few I can feel with fingernail.Sunset March side has light scratches with 2 scratches I can feel with fingernail.Has multiple scuff marks and an extremely light line that starts from label that appears to be a very minor that occured when record was pressed at factory.Not a lam and will not affect play.Extremely light and approximately 2 1/ to 3 inches long.On this side only.2nd 78 is a 1926 78 by Burnett And Rutherford on Columbia D label # 15122-D.Songs titled Lost John on one side and has I,ll Be with You When The roses Bloom Again on the other side.Lost John side has multiple very light and light scratches with 7 scratches I can pay with fingernail.has multiple scuff marks and looks to have 3 extremely light lams.1 of the lams are 2 inches long.Will not affect play as they are extremely light.The I'll Be with You side has multiple very light to light scratches with 10 scratches I can feel with fingernail.Multiple scuffing marks.3rd 78 is a reakl nice looking 1937 78 by Riley Puckett on Decca Sunburst label # 5442.Songs titled Short Life Of Trouble on one side and has The Cat Came Back on the other side.Short Life Of Trouble side has a small amountn of very light to light scratches with 1 tiny scratch I can feel with fingernail.Also has some of those small raised spots on grooves that are extremely common on Sunburst Decca 78s.Some very light and light scuffing and a couple of small groove pit marks.Has Beautiful groove shine.The cat came back side has a small amount of extremely light scratches and a small amount of light scratches with a tiny scratch I can feel very lightly with fingernail.Has a small amount of very light and light scratches and this side also has some of those very small raised groove dots.Almost all are tiny with 1 very small one.This side also has a bunch of groove shine.4th 78 is a 1927 78 by The Blue Ridge Corn Shuckers on Victor label # 20835.Songs titled Blue Ridge Corn Shuckin Parts 1 and parts 2.This side has several scratches with about 17 scratches I can feel with fingernail.Has scuffing and also quite abit of groove wear with some graying Please see picture for an accurate view.Corn Shuckin' Part 2 side has several scratches with about 10 scratches I can feel with fingernail.quite abit of groove wear with some greying on groove Please see picture.5th 78 is a 1927 78 by Earl Johnson And The Dixie Entertainers on Okeh Electric label # 45092.Songs titled Ain't Nobody's Business on one side and has Three Night's Experience on the other side.Ain't Nobody's Business side has several scratches with 20 scratches I can feel with fingernail.Has some scuffing and also a bunch of groove wear.The Three Night's Experience side has several scratches with 17 scratches I can feel with fingernail.Has scuffing also.Has 4 lams including one ugly 1 inch lam that I can feel lightly with fingernail starting at edge of record.I have taken a picture of it.Other 3 lams are very light and not on grooves as they are next to label only.This side also has a bunch of groove wear.6th 78 is a hard to find 1927 78 by Dyke's Magic City.Vocalion label # 5143.Songs titled Frankie on one side and has Poor Ellen Smith on the other side.Both sides have a ton of scratches with lots of scratches that can be felt with fingernail.Has scuffing and some groove digs.Both sides have very worn grooves.If the buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund on all records I sell.
