Description

6 vintage 78rpm records from the 1950s/60s. They are all by Elvis Presley and the tracks are as follows;

 

Don'cha Think It's Time/Wear My Ring Around Your Neck (RCA 1058)

Don't / I Beg Of You (RCA 1043)

Party / Got A Lot O Livin' To Do  (RCA 1020)

Jailhouse Rock / Treat Me Nice (RCA 1028)

King Creole / Dixieland Rock (RCA 1081)

How Do You Think I Feel / I'm Left ,You're Right, She's Gone (POP 428)   

The last record has a blue "His Masters Voice" label whilst all the others have black RCA labels.

I do not know if these records play or not. They all have marks on them but I haven't a clue whether 78rpms are as sensitive as modern day vinyl. These records are made of a heavier material than discs made today.

They all come in brown paper sleeves which I imagine to be original. The blue label record has an inner sleeve too that advertises "Hear Gracie Fields sing He Forgot To Come Back". The other side of the sleeve  is advertising the new "Portable  Model 102" gramophone".

The sleeve on one of the RCA records is by "Keith Prowse & co ltd"

One of the others is by "Abel & Sons ltd" of Northampton.
