Description
Hard-to-find LP from P.F. Sloan titled "Twelve More Times" released by Dunhill/ABC (D-50007) in 1966. Prolific songwriter/producer/guitarist who wrote hits for several high profile artists (Turtles, Barry McGuire, Johnny Rivers, Mamas & The Papas) and appeared as a session musician on many popular recordings. His solo recordings were overlooked but are high quality folk-rock efforts. This is his second album (unavailable on CD) featuring 12 folk-rock tunes showcasing his excellent songwriting and vocal attitude with a punkish quality. A few tunes show a strong Bob Dylan influence. Worthwhile artifact from our favorite musical era.
