The ORIGINAL SINNERS
"You’ll Never Know (What Love Is All About)" / "(Anytime You Need Me) I’ll Be Home"
(Discotech 1001)
Early 1966 release from four guys who were attending Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
Both songs were recorded in the back room of the Music Box, a record shop located about 15 minutes north, in Hamden, Connecticut.
A local teenager happened to be hanging out and offered to add harmonica to the recording of “You’ll Never Know”.
both sides charted on local radio station WAVZ, but the single has always been difficult to find.
CONDITION: I grade for visual, and for playback.
Playback = graded while listening thru top notch studio headphones
Grades are: Near Mint (for store stock - unplayed), VG++ (close to perfect) VG+ (excellent keeper copy)
VG , VG minus, and G (what most ebay sellers award as a VG grade is equal to my G condition).
I do not use the EX grade. EX = VG+ in my strict grading standards.
Visual: VG Scuffy playing surfaces on both sides, lots of hairline scuffs, no large scratches or marks with lite playwear.
Labels show fade and ringwear as seen in scan
Audio / Playback: Both sides play VG++. As this is a styrene pressing, it amazes me that this very copy plays with absolutely no distortion or hiss. None.
Matter of fact it plays exactly the same as my own collection copy that is near mint. You’d be fooled without looking at it to learn the visual grade is VG

The 45 will be packaged correctly - in a 45rpm mailer box with square filler pads.
