Description
The WHAT FOUR
"I’m Gonna Destroy That Boy"
(Columbia 43843) DJ
The four ladies based in Manhattan, New York recorded two 45s on the Columbia imprint during 1966; this one, their second, is the disc that has become sought-after.
A tuff attitude from the girls, with great studio musicianship added make for a cool girl garage 45.
CONDITION: I grade for visual, and for playback.
Playback = graded while listening thru top notch studio headphones
Grades are: Near Mint (for store stock - unplayed), VG++ (close to perfect) VG+ (excellent keeper copy)
VG , VG minus, and G (what most ebay sellers award as a VG grade is equal to my G condition).
I do not use the EX grade. EX = VG+ in my strict grading standards.
Visual: VG Lite hairline marks on both sides with a couple of tiny circular discoloration spots in the vinyl that do not affect play.
Writing on label, as seen in label scan. Flipside has no label writing
Audio / Playback: Both sides play VG++ Columbia label 45s were mastered and EQ’d for loud playback - this 45 won’t disappoint.
