Description
RIP CHORDS U.S. Mono LP "Hey Little Cobra And Other Hot Rod Hits" from 1964 (COLUMBIA RECORDS 2151) w/TIME-STRIP on front cover--RADIO STATION COPY - NOT FOR RESALE on both sides of Record Label.
The LP was produced by TERRY MELCHER, later the producer of the BYRDS and PAUL REVERE & the RAiDERS, and BRUCE JOHNSTON, later of the BEACH BOYS. The group was basically BRUCE and TERRY w/studio musicians including GLEN CAMPBELL and LEON RUSSELL.
HEY LITTLE COBRA was a big hit for the group in 1963--on the LP, the RIP CHORDS cover songs by the BEACH BOYS and JAN & DEAN and include other CAR and SURFIN' songs, which was a very popular style of music to play at the time.
THIS IS THE FIRST PRESSING OF THE LP.
