ELECTRIC PRUNES LP UNDERGROUND (Reprise Records RS 6262)
Original US 1967 stereo pressing on the vintage pink Reprise 2-tone steamboat label. An inch of the top left corner is cut to denote this as an out-of-print item. But the cover is in truly remarkable shape & the disc has been wonderfully preserved. Nice vintage pink, green & mustard Reprise logo. This album commences with "The Great Banana Hoax." David Axelrod helped record their first album, and this one follows in a similar vein. Produced by Dave Hassinger; Richie Polodor & Bill Cooper engineering. Ed Thrasher & Tom Tucker did the trippy cover. Etched matrix #30683 RS 6262A 1D
DISC - NEAR MINT
We give great importance to grading our items accurately. No scratches, scuffs, stains, skips, abrasions, pits, or residue on the disc or dead wax. Faint amount of inaudible streaking & very slight loss of rainbow sheen. Album appears to have been stored upright in a safe way.
COVER - VERY GOOD PLUS
Cover has no ink marks or dirt marks, no writing, bubbles, creases, stickers, or color fading. No front ring wear, slight back ring wear. *No front rubbing or speckles. Sharp print & rich rich color. The cut corner is a fairly clean incision with no tatters or fraying. Hardly any corner banging. Spine is fully readable wth some dents but no fraying. Reprise label is nearly perfect. Beautiful unfaded color tone. No marks, cuts, tears, writing or stickers. Sharp cut hole free even of any faint spindle scuffs!
