Please note: These records are not sold for sound quality.  I’m currently without a turntable, and I don’t have the ability to test-play vinyl.  If that’s an issue for you, please skip this auction, as I have no way of guaranteeing their sound quality.

These albums were all purchased in order to assist me in my research for the next set of books on flash drive, which are the solo titles.  I needed them for the labels, rather than for the vinyl.

These are all in VG to VG+ condition, and are still very playable, as well as collectible if you’re a labels completist!

**Keep in mind that my VG grade requires that an album still have the majority of its original shine, and that there are NO feelable scratches.  My VG+ by definition, is a stronger grade.

1. Apple with Capitol logo on Sliced Side

Vinyl--- VG+/VG

Plates--- Z9/F26.  Jacksonville (Letter “O”)

Cover--- VG

Labels--- EX/EX

Inner Sleeve--- Generic white.

2. Apple with “Mfd. By Apple” on Side 1, THICK Font, HYBRID PLATES!

Vinyl--- VG+/VG+

Plates--- Z5/F15.

Side 1 plate is out of LA. (Asterisk)

Side 2 plate is out of Scranton. (IAM Triangle)

Cover--- VG

Labels--- EX/EX.

Inner Sleeve--- Generic white.

3. Apple with “Mfd. By Apple” on Side 1, Jacksonville with In-House Labels

(This copy has very strange plates.  Not exactly a hybrid set, each dead wax has BOTH the LA Asterisk and the Jacksonville Letter O.)

Vinyl--- VG/VG+ Side 1 has a long, but non-feelable scuff.

Plates--- Z5/Z3.  Jacksonville (Letter “O”)

Cover--- VG.

Labels--- NM/NM.  Beautiful set of the rare in-house labels!

Inner Sleeve--- Generic white.

4. Apple with “Mfd. By Apple” on Side 1, Jax with Winchester Labels

Vinyl--- VG+/VG+.

Plates--- Z1/F2.  Jacksonville (Letter “O”) Side 1 also has the LA Asterisk.

Cover--- VG

Labels--- NM/NM

Inner Sleeve--- Generic white.

5. Rarer WHOLE Apple on Both Sides

Vinyl--- VG/VG+.  Side 1 has a lot of long soft scuffs, but none that can be felt with the fingertip.  Side 2 has a few, not as many.

Plates--- Z5/F33.  LA. (Asterisk)

Cover--- VG

Labels--- NM/NM

Inner Sleeve--- Generic white.

6. Rarer WHOLE Apple on Both Sides, CANADA First Pressing

Vinyl--- VG/VG.  Both sides have many soft scuffs not feelable with the fingertip.

Plates--- F11/Z7

Cover--- VG

Labels--- NM/NM. High gloss.  Side 1 has a crease from the factory.

Inner Sleeve--- Generic white.

As an aside, Paul’s Ram album has MANY label variations, so this is nowhere near an exhaustive set.  Even the U.S. Apple label has at least twice more label variations!
