Both Label-Sides have "ROCK" Master 10 /1961 but without German INTRO !
MISPRESSED:
!!! HAS ´ROCK´ ON BOTH SIDES AND ´MEIN HERZ IST BEI DIR NUR...´ ON SIDE A - BUT HAS THE ENGLISH INTRO - NOT THE GERMAN !!!
RARE 1961 / 1962 MISPRESSED COPY OF THE BEATLES 1st COMMERCIAL DISC.
It seems that the pressing company still had old labels of the first pressing and these were used for a very small edition.
Polydor Germany issued two different singles of "My Bonnie"/"The Saints", both numbered 24 673.
Initial copies had the "My Bonnie (Mein Herz ist bei dir nur)" on the record label and played the German introduction to 'My Bonnie' ( 10 / 1961 ).
The second version carried the "My Bonnie (Twist)" title on the record label and played the ENGLISH introduction' ( 1962 ).
This rare mispressed version bears 1st pressing labels but plays the ENGLISH language introduction to 'My Bonnie'.
As previously mentioned the subtitle on the 'My Bonnie' label is "My Bonnie (Mein Herz ist bei dir nur)" but it plays the ENGLISH introduction to the song. Maybe the record company had over some printed labels of 1st ED from 1961 and used them for 2nd pressing ( 1962 ) ?
