CONDITION
VINYL :- Pretty good actually / despite light surface marks each side both tracks play through just fine / very little lead-in & lead-out hiss / no pops or skips / a great clean sound which lends me to think the marks are a result of the record not being re-stored in its sleeve on occasion / Rated VG+ easily which is more than acceptable for this rarity and they probably don’t get much better ….providing of course you are lucky enough to stumble across a copy.LABELS :- both sides have black stickers as per the photos below / could be better but I suppose could just as easily be worse

DESCRIPTION
Arguably the rarest original Australian Beatles single ever released.Issued in June 1964 in Germany, Holland and Australia only. Understandably it faired well in Europe however the decision to press it here was just about the biggest disaster since the Titanic as no way were Aussie audiences prepared to shell out for German language recordings of “I Want To Hold Your Hand” / “She Loves You” …Beatles or not, and that is despite the fact that at this time the group were bigger than sliced bread and bottled milk together.
Beatle gurus estimate that at most only 2000 Australian copies in total sold and it is one of only a few of the groups singles which failed to chart here. A later re-issue of this 45 was included in the Singles Box Set however the label differences are quite pronounced ( i.e. Die Beatles in large Italics for one) and is not anywhere as collectable as this 1964 1st pressing.
This original 45 is a very rare and much sought after item in any sort of playable condition.
