Description
Collection of 7 childrens' 78 rpm record sets all in good or better condition. The first three items listed are from the Peabody award winning CBS radio series "Let's Pretend" with Nila Mack which ran from 1934 until 1954:
1. Cinderella, Columbia, 3 record set, as presented over the columbia broadcasting system on "Let's Pretend" written and directed my Nila Mack, set number J-MJ-32.
2. Jack and the Beanstalk, 3 record set, as presented over the columbia broadcasting system on "Let's Pretend" written and directed by Nila Mack, set number J-MJ-31.
3. Puss in Boots, 3 record set, as presented over the columbia broadcasting system on "Let's Pretend" written and directed by Nila Mack, set number J-MJ-33.
4. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, 3 record set, RCA Victor youth series, songs from Walt Disney's Snow White with the same characters and sound effects as in the film of that title. Set number Y-17. Numbers on records 45-5097, 45-5098, 45-5099. Previous owner's pencil list of songs written on inside of cover.
5. Walt Disney's Pinocchio, 3 record set plus 24 page text, RCA Victor Little Nipper Series Y-385. Text copyright by Walt Disney, 1949.
6. Rumplestiltskin, 2 record set, RCA Victor Youth Series number Y-354 as told by Roland Winters with dramatic and musical cast.
7. Johnny Appleseed from Walt Disney's Melody Time, RCA Victor Little Nipper series number Y-390, three record set plus two pages of cartoon-like panels on inside cover and first heavy paper record protector sleeve. Text copyright by Walt Disney, 1949.
All seven record sets are offered as a group at below wholesale cost. Shipping will include secure packaging in a single cardboard box by USPS media mail within 2 days of payment. Shipping to US addresses only. Proceeds will benefit the Ainsworth Memorial Library, a public library serving rural upstate NY.
