Description

Please note that this disc is a modern repressing or reproduction.  A clean copy of an original disc has been used as a "father" or "master matrix" to make new tooling to create this modern version.  Over the next several months I will be listing SEVERAL HUNDRED additional reproductions of the some of the most iconic, desirable and fun recordings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. 

This listing is for the disc pictured, a reproduction copy of E. Berliner 825 "Columbian Anthem" The New National Hymn.  Emile was known to frequently be the performer on the K&R 5" recordings, but it's uncommon that he's known to do so on the 7" discs.  He is clearly credited with the composition of this recording.  The original copy from which this disc is derived is in particularly nice condition and it plays through without issues.  If this one doesn't impress your record-collector friends than nothing probably will...
