Description
This is a collection of 6 Juice Newton video clips plus a full-length video of the making of Juice's Platinum and Gold duets albums. The following videos are Juice's promotional video clips that you might have seen on VH-1 or CMT. They are on 5 individual 5-minute VHS cassettes: 1) Angel of the Morning 2) Queen of Hearts 3) The Sweetest Thing 4) Love's Been a Little Bit Hard on Me 5) Break It to Me Gently ... All videos are in good condition though they must be relatively old; I bought them on e-bay a few years ago, watched them couple times and am now ready to sell them to you ... 6) "Can't Wait all night" is part of a collection of country videos called "Country Comes Alive." Juice is one of 8 RCA video artists besides The Judds, Kenny Rogers, Alabama and others. The tape and cover are from 1986 but are in fine condition... 7) The last video is a VHS of "The Making of the Dream sessions" an approx. 30-minute documentary of Juice dueting with artists like The Pointer Sisters, Willie Nelson, Eddie Rabbitt and Eddie Money and others. The tape is unopened... Juice never released a collection of videos, so this is as close as you'll get! I think this is a great find for a Juice fan. I hope you enjoy the videos as much as I did. Good Luck!
On May-30-06 at 06:54:48 PDT, seller added the following information: Quick update: Tapes 1-5 were not recorded from TV. I bought them from a guy on e-bay a while back and he said he got them in some sort of office warehouse auction. They are each on 5-minute long VHS tapes in a white sleeve with a cutout that shows a plain white label with the song title, artist, music label (EMI, etc) and running time printed on it. When you watch them, some of them have a slate -- meaning before the clip runs, a screen appears listing the director and production company, etc. If I had to guess, I would think they are copies that might have been sent to PR people or managers to let them see the video. (The actual broadcast quality tapes would have been on 3/4 inch professional cartridges, not on 1/2 VHS tapes like these.) But they were not recorded on a home VCR, they were appearnelty recorded from the master promotions tapes. That is how it looks in my Itunes library.
