It's like you take repetitive playground sayings/insults (or at least the rhythmic nature of these insults... don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about. If you're on RYM and you're reading this right now, then chances are you were absolutely tormented as a child), but sing them instead and add some oddball post-punk guitar to it. Being Swiss just makes it all the more charming; the high-pitched female harmonies feel so honest and earnest with their naive broken English delivery. The overall naivety and innocence makes Kleenex's debut EP seem almost like a post-punk version of The Shaggs (except with some serious chops). "Ain't You" and "Nice" are utterly delightful in that cold, emotionless European sense of the world. MINT sunrise label )........
