Description
This is a "First Pressing" bundle featuring the iconic sounds of the 1960s. This lot has original label variants and early matrix stampers. These are not modern reissues; they are the authentic 1960s analog pressings, from my Fathers collection.
The "Dead Wax" & Pressing Details:
1. Eydie Gormé & Trio Los Panchos – Amor
• Label: Columbia "360 Sound" (Two-Eye)
• Catalog: CL 2203 (Rare Mono First Pressing)
• Note: The definitive way to hear Eydie's vocals. Highly sought after by Latin Jazz enthusiasts.
2. Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66 – Self-Titled
• Catalog: A&M SP-4131
• Matrix: 1B / 1B Stamper
• Note: An exceptionally early cut. The "1B" indicates this was pressed from the very first set of master lacquers, offering superior dynamic range.
3. Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66 – Fool on the Hill
• Catalog: A&M SP-4160
• Note: Includes the original gatefold jacket. Essential Bossa Nova/Beatles covers.
4. Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass – South of the Border
• Label: A&M (Silver/Ochre label)
• Note: The album that defined the 60s "Pop-Latin" sound.
5. Music for Mexico – 3-LP Box Set (Somerset)
• Includes: 30 Mariachi and Folk hits.
• Note: Great "bulk" item for a complete themed collection.
6. Eydie Gormé – Turtles, Terriers, and Toreros
• Note: Rare 1960s Lounge/Vocal pop crossover.
IT WAS DIFFICULT TO GET THE DEAD WAX NUMBERS IN PICS -SO I SHINED THE LIGHT DIRECTLY ONTO THE LABEL TO GET THE BEST PICTURES OF THE MATRIX NUMBERS AND STAMPS. HOWEVER, IT SOMETIMES MAKES THE ALBUM LOOK, FOGGY OR DISCOLORED- WHICH THEY ARE NOT. ALL ALBUMS HAVE THE HIGH GLOSS LOOK. I DID PLAY THE RECORDS THAT HAVE SCUFF OR LIGHT NON FEELABLE SCRATCHES AND THERE WERE NO SKIPS OR NEEDLE BEING STUCK. LIGHT TICKS AND POPS BUT STILL VERY ENJOYABLE.

Condition Report & Seller Disclosure:
• Vinyl: All records have been visually graded under bright LED light. Expect typical light surface scuffs consistent with 60-year-old vinyl. There are no "feelable" deep scratches that would cause skips.
• Audio: Being vintage analog pressings, expect mild surface noise (crackle) during quiet intros.
• Covers: Original jackets show some shelf wear and aged patina. Amor and Brasil '66 covers are structurally sound with clean spines.
• Sold As-Is: Due to the age of these items, this lot is sold as a vintage collector's item. Please see all photos for label and matrix verification.
