Description



DGG records manufactured in Japan by Nippon Gramophon in the late '60 years.

Nippon Gramophon was the Japanese licensee for DGG records until 1970/71, after which it changed its name

to Polydor KK. The first pressings of the records were reserved for samples that were given to reviewers and 

promotion staff. These samples were stored in the Nippon archives and the labels bore the words, in Japanese, 

"not for sale."
