For other countries, yes Aussie post is extraordinarily expensive, the way to go is buy enough to get over 2KG, then the mail cost per lp added after that halves for everything added to the mail pack. That's why I list weekly in a theme, to give the chance to bulk up, not to mention the 12000 + other LP's we can organise at set price on an  eBay listing,  to bulk up any auction wins and take advantage of cheaper post rates.

One of the few Chamber music recordings reviewed by Arthur Salvatore and deemed well enough recorded for inclusion on his Supreme LP Recordings list.  Search the web for Salvatore Supreme recordings and you will find the 4 tier list, ranging from only a few regarded as 'Divinity' down to the 4th level "Basic List".  This box set assessed as 3rd Tier Honorable Mentions

UK Decca  FIRST ISSUE NARROW BAND LP's  X 7  in BOX with booklet, stock Number D 188 D7

Discs are NM with no sign of Rotational spindle marks. 

VG++ BOX

(no splits, VERY MINIMAL REFLECTIVE LIGHT RUBBING ON COVER, GLOSSY FRONT, bottom left corner impact, corner compressed. 

HOWEVER  When recieved the lid was seperated from the base, I have replaced the flexible hinge with higher quality Fabric reinforced book binding tape, the original on these late decca boxes looks like and feels like ordinary masking tape, (SEE PHOTO 4 of my great repair !!)  .

Dust covers MOST ARE NM, BUT A COUPLE ARE VG+, NONE SPLIT, JUST CREASED OR DISCOLORED

PARTIAL TEST play, and sample of edges of disc one and some of the 15th Quartet,

THIS is STILL very clean sounding,  Photo's  taken in full with flash or reflective light , and ONLY THE  COVER DAMAGE TO THE BOX  visible to me or the camera.  Sound Samples, were taken as were the photo's before any wet washing, just a light dust of with an antistat dust cloth it looked so clean.

On first time test play there was very few TICS OR clicks, on THE areas tested .

SOUND SAMPLE GUIDE approximately 2 minutes of each side  of record with Quartet 1 and 2, followed by the opening two minutes of Quartet 15 on the final LP side 14 B

I just supply that , as a sample so you can see how clean these play unwashed, before sound samples or photo's. As you can hear very clean, maybe only a few sticky dust light tics left on the rest of the LP's 

BE aware the sound sample talked about IS A LOW SAMPLE RATE AND accentuates treble (Hence more static crackle that you DON'T hear through your Hi Fi) and is low quality, but you get the idea. 

Yes I have pretty much fully test played DISC ONE ONLY, all the rest are visually as clean as the sound sample areas, no sign of rotational spindle marks, I suspect these LP's rarely if ever played,
