Description

This is a nice copy of the very rare 1963 single by GEOFF GODDARD 'SKY MEN' b/w 'WALK WITH ME MY ANGEL'. It is, of course, a 1st pressing on the HMV label, cat # POP 1213. Both sides were produced by maverick genius, JOE MEEK the man behind TELSTAR (The most successful pop instrumental EVER). 

Side 1 has some 'paper' marks and a couple of heavier marks. There is a little crackle on the run-in groove but otherwise plays Excellent. The side 1 label has the original owner's initials written very lightly in what seems to be pencil: this is probably not visible in the scan, it IS very light.

Side 2 is in very similar condition and also has owner's initials.

Nonetheless a very acceptable example of a truly rare item, rated at £100.00 in the current Rare Record price Guide.

This record has been thoroughly play-tested. Please note if white 'flecks' and/or coloured lines appear in the scan this is due to the scanning process and not present in reality.
