Description

The Smiths "That joke is'nt funny anymore" Very rare UK test pressing and proof sleeve and  personal letter by Scott Piering.

Scott Piering was a successful and influential music publicist, one of serveral manger of The Smiths and music publicist for many Britishmusic acts, including Pulp, The KLFm, Sterophonic, Placebo and Underworld. He ran the publicity consultancy, Appearing Promotions

The record has whitelabels and day stamp 23. Apr. 1985. . The proof sleeve has a peach coloured back sleeve instead of the usual pink/red  from the common UK 7".  Famous item and a must have for all Smiths collectors. Proof is not folded and in mint condition.  Email me with any questions or if you would like more pictures. Shipping within Germany is free, 4 Euros Europe. 7 Euros overseas.
