Offered is a 7" U.S. Berliner 453 done by Stephen B. (Steve) Clements. He plays a banjo solo entitled "Banjo Medley."
Clements was probably the first banjoist to record for Berliner.
This particular record was done on February 16, 1896. It is in E- to V+ condition. There is a 3/4 inch tight edge crack which ticks lightly. There is a slight edge warp that seems to track fine on my equipment, but may require a little extra tonearm weight on others. There is a pressing pimple that thumps.
