Description
UK LABEL 70s NORTHERN SOUL
I'll be auctioning off a lot of UK label singles over the next year(s), all taken from my own large collection. I've decided to concentrate on collecting US releases, and only keep a few UK label records. Among them are some very collectable 45s indeed, so make sure you don't miss any.
LOU RAGLAND
"SINCE YOU SAID YOU'D BE MINE"
b/w
"I DIDN'T MEAN TO LEAVE YOU"
(UK: Warner Bros. K 16312, 1973)
Record conditon: Excellent +++
Labels condition: Spotless
"Since You Said You'd Be Mine" is one of those timeless recordings that seems to have been around for a mighty long time, yet remains as popular today as it ever was. I've got most of Lou Ragland's work, but this is the only UK single I've been able to track down - except for a reissue on Inferno (paired with "I Travel Alone"). The slow ballad on the B-side is simply breathtaking, with a delightful rap in the break.
Both labels are little short of immaculate, and the vinyl is stunning, with hardly a mark on it.
This record has been played on both sides to test. It comes in my own personalized card cover.
