Description
ARTIST: John Gary Williams
LABEL: Stax 0205 (1973)
TITLE: The Whole Damn World Is Going Crazy b/w Ask the Lonely
CONDITION:
Labels: The A Side has a whisper of wear from not being pasted down flatly. B Side has a tiny spot of light wear
Record: Retains high original gloss. Side A has some light surface scuffs and a small light scratch and a few tiny nicks. It plays almost Mint- some very light random background ticks. Side B looks pretty bad w/ a lot of tiny scratches & nicks bunched together in one spot. It plays VG- w/ fairly loud background ticks through most of the side but plays through w/ no skips. Still has decent sound presence through the ticks. / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Original copy of this excellent 70's Northern Soul 45 on Stax from the former lead singer of tht Mad Lads. Side A is an excellent midtempo track written & produced by John Gary. The B Side is a fine version of the Four Tops classic. Comes with a Stax sleeve
NOTE: VPI cleaned means that this record was cleaned on a professional $500 cleaning machine, which does wonders for the playback of all vinyl records!
