Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. Though not as avant-blues orientated as Captain Beefheart's Trout Mask Replica, this dark entity sure does get convoluted and haphazard from time to time.
- The instant human reaction recognize spooky-things that make us go: Ahhh, now WE get it!
- We're NOT simply talking about a Mamas & Papa's LP's, rather the flipped-out mystical ones that sound like a demented creation playing
- tick-tack-toe on a thematic horror script that you've NEVER heard!
- Sometimes the listener gets left with mayhem running in all directions without much of a red thread to follow.
- Sure, after a while one comes to grips with the situation of this album - suddenly remembering what goes where and when, though much stays uncomfortable and angular, totally twisted and distorted - at least when you start comparing it to 'regular' music.
- ....
This is NOT 'regular' music! Starting off in the midst of a horror flick appears an out of breath person - running away from something, including squeaking noises, fumbling beats and weird musical segments ebbing and flowing - conjuring up an atmosphere of unease and a sense that anything can happen, and it most probably always does.
The threatening ambiances of the organs actually sound like remnants off of an old Bela Lugosi movie, and when you hear the creepy unbalanced tribal drums filling up the back-draft of a dark burping narrative voice stemming from a watery grave - the feel of insanity and horror all starts multiplying by the second. (probably a pretty good perception.)
- Then you get the immanence of the fan-faring blowing winds, the old school string arrangements and a couple hundred freak-show sound effects, perfectly mirroring a parallel universe....
- cat screeches, rotting doors opening, scrambling moogs from outer space, crying, shouting, horses neighing, African chanting (Oh yes, not even kidding you!) owl howling in the winds and then some.
- All done rather brilliantly; you feel like you've stepped into an old cinema, where the screen has gone missing.

Fun-zone's better than the 1931 Frankenstein soundtrack where hidden passages suddenly rise above a quirky madness, transporting the listener to a strange twisted Pink Floyd-ish land ...cymbals a-crashing and silky smooth guitar talks familiar in the ear, and quite beautifully amid scattered female choir ornamentation's countering the grim and loosely assembled musical puzzle pieces.
- Further enhanced are the percussive electronics sounding like a flickering woodpecker with a rudimentary sense of melody.
Perhaps most of the album is based upon the Maldoror legend.
- The last cut features a narrative voice reading a passage of Lautreamont, in which Maldoror describes from the inside what he feels as his decomposing body is being eaten by worms, crabs, dogs and other animals. The choice of words seems pretty repugnant, but theatrical speaking is to love the assumed vileness of it all.
