Description
Public Image Ltd "Metal Box" 1979 U.K. triple vinyl album Virgin METAL 1.
3 x 12" 45 rpm packaged in embossed film reel style metal can. The records never had inners, just three spacers to protect the vinyl. Includes track list insert. Please see pics and use zoom for close ups.
The records all have light turntable marks on one side and a couple of very light surface marks, all still like new shiny and in excellent condition. There's just a couple of spindle marks, this clearly hasn't been played much at all. TECHNICAL NOTE! - I was in retail when this came out and we got a lot of returns because the heavy bass line caused jumping on some decks; this has been played right through on my 70s Garrard SP 25 and plays perfectly.
The can is very tarnished as you can see from the pics (they all are by now!) but no dents and is still in excellent condition. These can be bought back to glory with metal polish, but I'll leave that to the buyer to decide. The track insert has very minor creasing, still excellent; record dividers are mint.

Non-payment is becoming a big problem! - please read BEFORE you bid....
Please pay within 5 days of auction end. Non-payment after that results in eBay cancelling the auction and applying a no-payer strike that can affect you being able to bid on other seller's auctions - please see eBay small print for details.
If you have low feedback (under 50) or private feedback, please contact me before bidding (why keep it private if it's good?!) - low / private feedback bids maybe cancelled without prior notice. Sorry if this sounds a bit heavy, but the majority of non-payment comes from low & private feedback bidders, and it is getting out of control.
All items dispatched within 24 hours of payment, same working day for payments received by 2.30 pm.
Money back guarantee if not delighted!
PACKING: All vinyl is shipped with record outside the cover to avoid seam splits in transit. Extra stiffeners, foam wrap and high quality mailers ensures your record is dispatched to arrive in top condition. I'm very proud of the fact that I cannot remember the last time I had damage in transit.
