This is an original pressing of the unknown and impossibly rare (limited to 250 copies) self released LP: IAN MURRAY / TIM COHOON "THE TOP SONG / KEEPING ON TOP OF THE TOP SONG" (QC 1062).
This is a crazy self released LP from Nova Scotia:
Side 1: THE TOP SONG - A Recording of the first ten seconds of each of the top one hundred songs of the last ten years (recorded 1972 / mono).
Side 2: STAYING ON TOP OF THE TOP SONG - performed by Tim Cohoon - professional drummer playing along with a tape he hadn't previously heard (see scan for more info) (recorded 1973 / stereo).
Record appears to be in near excellent condition with only a couple of light marks that cannot be felt.
Cover shows some light discoloration (and minor water damage) and some light wear. No split seams. Label is SIGNED by Ian Murray (see scan). Numbered 50 / 250.
No reserve.
