Description
This is a vintage 1976 release on the Swan Song label by the rock giants Led Zeppelin entitled " Soundtrack From The Film The Song Remains The Same " (SS2-201). This very collectible LP has two (2) vinyl records each within the original Atlantic Records inner sleeves. The live recordings for this album were made on July 27-29, 1973 in Madison Square Garden as part of the band's North American Tour. Nine (9) track in all were used for the album (see photos for track title). The gatefold jacket (in splendid condition) features an eight (8) page stapled-in booklet insert (including the 2 pages as the back side of the LP jacket front and back covers).
Condition of Vinyls: The 2 Stereo vinyls are very shiny and clean with few signs of past use. We do see some light scuffing in spots on Side 2 (Dazed and Confused is the sole track) possibly from past owner mis-handling. We have test played all 4 sides and have found the playback to be excellent and amazing. We rate the overall condition of these 2 vinyls to be Excellent (EX) using Goldmine standards. The original Atlantic and affiliated labels inner sleeves in nice shape are included.
Condition of Jacket: The outer gatefold style jacket has some scratches, wrinkles, edge wear, softened corners and very light ring wear from past handling and storage. The inner gatefold area with affixed booklet is in very nice shape with full intact inner gatefold seam (no tear). The inner back to outer back cover has a few scratches on close inspection. We rate the overall condition of this jacket as Very Good Plus (VG+) using Goldmine standards.
The vinyls within the inner sleeves will be separated from outer jacket. A heavy duty LP record mailer will be used with inserts and ample bubble wrap. Never a packing charge.
