Description

Scarce Jackie Coogan Record "Recorded by Jackie himself" Recorded circa June 1925 by Cameo Records for a special series of  3 Coogan records. Each side has a special Jackie Coogan picture label in color. This 7-inch shellac 78rpm comes in its original specially printed sleeve, showing numerous photos of Jackie from his film roles, and exercising on the reverse side of the sleeve. Coogan was one of the biggest child stars in silent movies of the 1920's after initially appearing with Charlie Chaplin in the 1920 film "The Kid" when he was 6 years old. In later years he appeared as Uncle Fester in The Addams Family TV series. Coogan only made a handful of records during his hey-day of the 1920's, including a Boy Scout record, this series, and one in England in 1928 with his father (plus a private recording with his mother in the mid 1920's around the time he made this series) . . . Condition: E+ . . a beautiful copy of the record. Sleeve has a lot of little chips and tears, but is intact (see photos), and is printed on a fragile type of paper.
