4 78s featuring songs from the 1937 20th Century Fox musical comedy LOVE AND HISSES. Pressings by Allied Phonograph and Record Mfg. Co. of Hollywood, CA. The 3 10" 78s are one sided with Allied's embossed RADI-O-DISC pattern on back. Musical comedy theme of film is a trumped up feud between bandleader Ben Bernie and columnist Walter Winchell. Using reverse psychology, Bernie pretends his new girl singer is a bust, getting Winchell to lavish praise on her in his column. Nice copies with some light scuffing.
