Description

78 RPM - Cameo 256 from August 1922, Arthur Lange and His Orchestra - E+ condition, super clean and shiny, plays well on my Dual 1218 turntable. 

This very early CAMEO record has a green label pasted over it "George M. Cohan Presents Little Nelly Kelly, Liberty Theatre". I do not know when the paste over occurred but I seems like it should be associated with some George M. Cohan event or promotion, possibly the opening of the play. The opening for the production matches the year of the Cameo recording - 1922.

From Wikipedia "Little Nellie Kelly opened at the Tremont Theatre, Boston, on 31 July 1922[6] and arrived at the Liberty Theatre on Broadway on 13 November 1922, where it ran for nine months.[3] Its total of 276 performances in New York was more than for any of George M. Cohan's other musicals.[7][1]"

My grading scale is not complicated.  Mint (M, M-) means like new with only the slightest of scuffing.  Excellent (E, E+, E-) means minor scuffs, scrapes, label wear, light scratches that do not affect the play.  Good (G, G+, G-) means scuffing, scraping, scratches, acceptable playing with noticible noise.  I try not to sell records that are warped or that skip unless noted.  These are records I have picked up while expanding my own record collection.
