Greetings fellow ebayers,

What I am offering up for auction here is a very clean 78 RPM copy of
Lloyd Price - Lawdy Miss Clawdy/Mailman Blues - Specialty Records #428. This record was Lloyd’s first recording released in 1952. It reached the number 3 position on the Billboard R&B Charts and remained on the charts for an astounding 6 months and sold well over 1 million copies by crossing over into the white audience!!!!!

SPECIAL NOTE: I have several other collectible Rock and Roll 78's up for auction.

I clean each record that I sell and visually and audibly grade them in accordance with Goldmine standards.

This record grades visually and audibly as a solid EX. It still has its full shine with no scratches or scuffs. I am very conservative about grading my records and in my opinion, I don’t believe this record was played more than a dozen times, if that. I test play every record on my Dual ULM turntable which is fitted with a 78 RPM stylus. This record plays all the way through very loud with very little surface noise and next to no tics or pops. Clean labels with no writing on them.

This is probably the nicest copy of this record you will find anywhere.

I have been collecting and selling 78 RPM records for over 30 years. I pack and ship very securely.
