Description
ARTIST: Louis Armstrong and His Hot Seven / Five
LABEL: Okeh 8503
TITLES: Potato Head Blues / Put 'Em Down Blues
CONDITION: E+
DESCRIPTION: Like new copy of this 1927 Okeh with "Potato Head Blues", one of the great masterpieces of early jazz. The only blemish to either surface is a tiny, superficial 1/4" scratch spot on "Potato Head Blues" that might produce a few very faint tics if audible at all. From the collection of Dave Caughren, a pioneer collector who purchased dealer stock copies of classic jazz 78s from New York's Commodore Music Shop in 1939.
WAIT FOR SECOND INVOICE - THE ONE NOT AUTOMATICALLY GENERATED BY EBAY IMMEDIATELY AFTER CLOSE OF AUCTION.
ANNOUNCEMENT: If you have any higher end pre-war blues, country or jazz you might like to consign, please get in touch and I will let you know the affordable service I can provide.
PAYMENT BY PAYPAL ONLY
In addition to postage costs, an addition charge for the cost of packing materials (box, corrugated squares, packing peanuts) of $3.50 will be added to each parcel.
