Mary Williams vocal and Ray Miller Orchestra appear on this part of "Sunny Meadows" radio program. . . Sunny Meadows Program D - Part 5 mx. XC-2829 - Recorded in Chicago, January 18, 1929 "Tain't So, Honey, Tain't So" sung by Mary Williams with piano accompaniment. then announcer says "Here's Ray with one that's short and sweet, like a baby's smile." The Ray Miller Orchestra plays what has to be one of the worst songs ever, possibly because the vocal refrain is sung by one of the worst singers I've heard in decades of collecting! The song seems to be "Give Me The Old Fashioned Daughters", or something like that. (the vocal on this selection is really terrible!) Condition is E- to E . . . plays well. . .
