Description
ARTIST: Rev. J. C. Burnett / Rev. J. M. Gates
LABEL: Velvet Tone 7113
TITLES: True Friendship / The One Thing I Know
CONDITION: E-
DESCRIPTION:
Columbia offered this battle of the preachers on its Velvet Tone label - a very scarce release. Rev. Gates takes on Rev. Burnett. Sermons with singing. Grooves are glossy, but there were several light scratches that some bright boy tried to smooth out or cover over, and their handiwork did not have any impact on play but it made the record look like it had the shellac measles. Music loud and clear. Quiet surface with occasional light tic.
WAIT FOR SECOND INVOICE - THE ONE NOT AUTOMATICALLY GENERATED BY EBAY IMMEDIATELY AFTER CLOSE OF AUCTION.
ANNOUNCEMENT: If you have any higher end pre-war blues, country or jazz you might like to consign, please get in touch and I will let you know the affordable service I can provide.
PAYMENT BY PAYPAL ONLY
In addition to postage costs, an addition charge for the cost of packing materials (box, corrugated squares, packing peanuts) of $3.50 will be added to each parcel.
