Description

78 RPM

LABEL: Clarion 5248

TITLES: Ever Since Time Began/ Walkin My Baby Back Home

ARTIST: Annette Hanshaw

CONDITION: looks fair, plays V+ due to laminated surface

ONE OF HER RAREST- her records in the 1930s did not sell nearly as well as the pre depression era ones from the 20s, making this a very hard one to find

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Annette Hanshaw was a favorite vocalist of the mid 1920s-mid 1930s. She sang with many jazz bands, dance bands, Hawaiian bands and straight vocals. She recorded under a variety of pseudonyms such as Gay Ellis, Dot Dare, as well as her own name.

Fortunately most of Annette's records were made for the Columbia family of labels which used laminated pressings, so they mostly sound better than they look as the surface wear is diminished by the laminated surface

They are play graded on a modern turntable using a new Stanton 2.7 mil stylus. I have been collecting, buying, selling, packing and shipping for decades so have experience in all of these aspects, so please feel free to bid with confidence!

Winner pays postage at cost. Domestic and international bidders welcome. Paypal accepted. Please see other auctions for more 78s as I am happy to combine shipping to save postage. Media mail shipping in the US...First Class International for overseas..plus $3 per parcel to help offset the cost of new boxes, cardboards, packing material..That charge is per box, not per record, so multiple wins shipped together are economical!

Thanks
