Description

78 rpm Native Brazilian Music- 4 record set on Columbia. album C-83, records 36503-36504-36505-36506. Records are in E condition(EXC)- one has a lam which has NO affect- all could use a light cleaning and all play great.....

Great set of Native Brazilian Music selected and recorded under the supervision of Leopold Stokowski. The maestro toured South America as part of the Good Neighbor Policy and chose the best and most typical tunes of the areas he visited. Songs include Macumba de Ochoce, Sappo No Sacco, K Keri K K.

Songs are recorded by native musicians, and NOT by Stowkowski in classical style---although he selected the tunes...Authentic Brazilian music played by Brazilians

They are play graded on a modern turntable using a new Stanton 2.7 mil stylus. I have been collecting, buying, selling, packing and shipping for decades so have experience in all of these aspects, so please feel free to bid with confidence!
