RARE BLUES 7 INCH 78 RECORD  DOES NOT COME UP OFTEN

 

VINYL: MINT MINUS (LOOKS LIKE IT WAS NEVER PLAYED)

 

"CRYING THE BLUES/MACAYO"

 

  This is one of a small group of very rare 7 inch 78's sent to radio stations in the early 1950s.

                                                                   Even the matrix numbers are different with a DJ prefix before the matrix number in the wax.

Only a handful were issued on Modern and RPM and they are stamped 78 RPM over the RPM logo on the label so they wouldn't  be played at 45 RPM.
