78 RPM 12" Columbia Masterworks MM 580 5 record Set Prokofiev, Alexander Nevsky Cantata by Eugene Ormandy, The Philadelphia Orchestra, Jennie Tourel - Mezzo-Soprano, Westminster Choir with Conductor John Finley Williamson well taken care of E- to E to E- This rare classical set circa 1945-46 5 record 12" set is in an above average condition E- to E to E- condition, I just checked all 10 sides looking for flaws and spotted nothing notabely wrong. This is all minor surfacy blemishes and marks mostly--no real scratches at all, mild wear (probably the worst flaw--is a mildish wear), the 10 sides looked clean, above average with mild wear and flaws-- see my 9 photos to see the shellac and album for yourself. Graded visually. Spindle holes and labels have light to mild wear. Will be in the original 5 sleeve cover album V to V+ , this album has a squishy spine, top spine edge cloth loose--glue would probably get that back in place, discoloration on the inside edges cloth holding the sleeves to the spine--still connected--you would have to rip hard to pull this apart--just squishy and a bit worn on the edges--the album is not as nice as the records--its not bad though--sleeves have little wear. This set was probably acquired by my dad back in 1950s or 1960s in some record deal and put on a shelf and never played (he likes Jazz not classical)--well kept, ever since on a shelf in a decent climate. Shipments outside the US on 12" shellacs, is high for 1 - 12" shellac as you see --I can get a 2nd 12" shellac or 10"shellac or LP in the same box with this 12" shellac for the same postage--so its actually very wise to get a 2nd record if you are in Canada or overseas if you are interested in 1 of my 12" shellacs--its all about the weight--I know the weights).
