78RPM Odeon 281.484 Sarane Ferret, Septembre / Blue Guitare nice V+ (this has scratches--I will describe how they played) This extremely rare c1941 great gypsy Jazz 78 record is an overall mild V+ with scratches. I played this both sides---I am no expert on 78 play grades--I was just checking the play on the obvious visual (non-feelable to barely feelable by touch) scratches you can see in the 9 photos above. The Blue Guitare side I heard no clicks that were from the scratch--the Septembre side I could here some clicking--not overwhelming and no skipping --just some tick type clicking about 75% of the time on that side. I can't throw a play grade on this--because I really don't know--it sounded like a 78 to me. Visually this 78 is a V+ to E- to V+ if you don't consider the scratches--I would say it has a mild to medium wear and nothing else notable besides the 2 barely to not feelable scratches, see the 9 photos above to judge the shellac for yourself. Labels have some minor scratches from the scratches--nothing else, clean labels, see pixs. Will be in the vintage paper sleeve it has been stored in for 6-7 decades. Only have 1 of this artist.
