Description

Here is another set of wonderful 78s dating from before 1930. You might find an odd surface mark on at least one of them, but they all play and sound very good. As usual,I recommend a lightweight tone-arm,as a heavy soundbox can cause damage, despite the discs being produced for steel needles, and the longer records like these survive, the better for future generations. Lets look now and see what you will be getting. 1)Pamela Baselow-Peggy O`neal/Somewhere In Fairyland(HMV) 1922 2)The Black Diamonds Band(Zonophone House Band)-Salut Dàmour/Le Pere La Victoire(Zonophone) 3)St.Hilda Colliery Band-Favorita/On The Cornish Coast(part 3) Regal 1924 4)St Hilda Colliery Band-On The Cornish Coast(Parts 1&2) Regal 1924 5)Billy Williams-Squeeze Her Ebenezer/Where Does Daddy Go(Ariel) 1913 6)The London Novelty Orchestra-Nights Of Gladness/The Skaters waltz(Regal) c1929 Possibly before 7)Mr Eli Hudson-Hornpipe Medley/Electric Polka (HMV) PRE 1920 RARE 8)Mr Frank Williams-The Miner`s Dream Of Home/The Home Guards Band-The Miners Dream Of Home(Zonophone) 1908 9)Carlisle St.Stephens Band-The Exile/Toreador(Regal) 10)Frank Mullings-I Know Of Two Bright Eyes/The Gentle Maiden(Columbia)      And there you have them.      This wonderful set of TEN records will compliment any collection and add value to it. NOTE:If purchasing from a record dealer,be certain to have at least £110.00 in your pocket/purse. You will find one seller on here asking £24.00 just for disc five. Now see my asking figure.
