Description

These are two demos (4 sides) cut on August 15,1948 and not released. A close friend of Ralph Sutton named John Phillips of St. Louis had access to Ralph and they jammed at John's home on numerous occasions,sometimes with visiting musicians .These are from his collection.. A previous unreleased test I found some years ago was issued on a Sutton CD a few years ago before Ralph died.. NOT sure where these were recorded ,but they are similar to the prior one. Possibly only existing copy of these.

Discs have "audio disc storage residue"  and need surface cleaning... No pitting, and base disc looks E-

 Had a prior disc professionally restored for a CD... These have not been done..and could use a reissue.


These are my grades ,E-,VG++,VG+,VG,VG-,G+......Highest to lowest for 78s.I only use E or E+ when the record looks like new and unplayed or almost perfect. E- or indeed VG++ are very nice and and will be more than satisfactory to discerning collectors.
