8 jackets 48 Discks Wilcox-Gay Recordio VTG Home Recordings Unknown Artist 48-56

$

50

8 record holders, each holding 6 "discks" for a total of 48 discks. They appear to be recorded front and back and some with dual songs per side. Home recordings on Wilcox-Gar Recordio discks. This unknown artist is Frank Norkus from Michigan. I think the oldest one in this lot is from 1948 at first glance and latest I think was 1956 (60 years ago.) This lot has a wide range of music from love songs, polka, Christmas, Waltz, and beyond. Now there are also names like "Homer and Jefro Comic Song W.L.S. Then dated and his name. Different artist so I am not sure if that is the song he sang or some how recorded the person. A lot of labels are too blurry to read. I am seeing a lot of polka - a few photo titles included in photos. I did not play these myself. The discs are 6 1/2 inches. This is 1 of 2 lots I am listing of Wilcox-gay recordio disks. See other auctions to see the rest. I have a sensitive nose and can smell cigarette remanence. 8 jackets 48 Discks Wilcox-Gay Recordio VTG Home Recordings Unknown Artist 48-56
