This is your once in a lifetime chance to own a piece of Rock 'n Roll history! July 3rd, 2012 was the 41st anniversary of rock legend Jim Morrison's date of death.

In 2003, Hollywood celebrity Cheri Woods purchased the apartment building in West Hollywood, California, which has become recogized as rock legend "JIM MORRISON'S LAST KNOWN U.S. RESIDENCE." Jim resided there with his longtime girlfriend, Pamela Courson, from 1970-1971, still maintaining the apartment when he went to Paris where he reportedly died of heart failure 4 months later while in the bathtub on July 3, 1971. This landmark building holds a cultural and historical significance to all Doors fans.

All items for sale are original to the 1932 building and/or were in the building when Cheri Woods purchased it, and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Items are described as accurately as possible. Most items were kept itemized as to the apartment and location they came from and are stated in the ad, unless stated otherwise in the event an item was not documented. Items are being sold for their historical rock 'n roll memorabilia value, so unless stated otherwise, presume they are in "non-working condition" as some items were replaced after becoming non-working, whereby other working items were replaced merely in the process of upgrading/updating the property. These items go back 70 years!

Baggie with 5 original authentic tile chips from kitchen of Jim's former apt. You can keep one and sell the rest for the profit! This is the first time wall chips have been available for sale from Jim's unit and most likely will be the last time, as it was only recently removed to add an outlet for the new stove in the kitchen.
