Offered is an 8-Lot of Jazz & Dance Band 78s on a variety of original
U.S. labels:
1. Victor 22699 (scroll) Henry Busse Orchestra-Have You
Forgotten/Faithfully Yours, condition is V+ on the A side and E- on the
B side
2. Brunswick 8155 Eddy Duchin Orchestra-Ol' Man Mose/Between The
Devil And The Deep Blue Sea, condition is E- The jury is still out as to
whether on the first side, vocalist Patricia Norman substitutes an "F"
for the "B" in the word "Bucket" in a few instances. After listening at
slow speed, I say yes!
3. Victor 19318 Benson Orchestra of Chicago-Doodle Doo Doo/Back In
Hackensack New Jersey, condition is E+ light A side scratch
4. Perfect 14307 Lanin's Arcadians-I Want To Be Happy/Casino Dance
Orchestra-Kisses True, condition is E- to V+ with small surface
scratches, brown shellac, label fade B side
5. Brunswick 2776 Isham Jones Orchestra-Where's My Sweetie
Hiding/Feedin' The Kitty, condition is E- with a small A side pimple
that ticks. Nice tunes by this great Band.
6. Victor 25270 Paul Whiteman Orchestra-It's Got To Be Love/There's
A Small Hotel, condition is E- with surface scuffs, removable dealer
sticker on A side label
7. Cameo 420 Varsity Eight-Oh Joe (Rollini bass sax solo)/Bob Haring
Orchestra-Sittin' In A Corner, condition is V+ with label scuffs A side
8. Electradisk 2504 Roy Wager Orchestra (Joe Haymes Orchestra)
Night Will Be Filled With Music/Am I Wasting My Time, condition is V+
possible quarter-inch hairline edge crack (both sides issued only on
this Electradisk)
