Description
THE WHO - 9 great singles for sale as one lot. I don't know the 1970's and 1980's discs as they are not within my normal timescale for selling so the whole lot is on offer for just £8.95. Must be a bargain!
I play the A side of my sale records on an original Monarch turntable, the successor to the Dansette. These machines were tailor made for the early vinyl so if there was anything untoward, it would soon be found. If you disagree with the rating, don't make a fuss - ask for that refund!

All U.K. prices are checked against other sellers on Ebay, in Record Collector and John Manship price guides as appropriate, as well as on Popsike, Discogs and 45Cat. I also use the Goldmine (U. S) and European pricing manuals if necessary. I do not overcharge so you can expect better prices than any of those sources.
I'll do all of these for £8.95. All sales are covered by my 100% no quibble guarantee.
VERY IMPORTANT POSTAGE NOTICE - please read carefully before bidding!
I am a disabled seller, with a trapped nerve against the spinal column which prevents me from walking any distance without assistance. Posting is done by a friend, once or sometimes twice a week, usually on a Thursday. If your payment arrives on a Friday, you could wait a week for the item, and longer if the friend is not available. We will do our best to beat these postage times but there can be no guarantee. Please be prepared for this delay before you bid and do not complain about slow service – you have been advised. If you leave a poor mark on my seller ratings, you achieve nothing other than to make Ebay reduce my listing. This helps no-one so please assist your fellow Ebayers, be patient and think before you click!
With regret, I will now only leave positive feedback AFTER it has been left for me.
POSTAGE PRICE BREAKDOWN (U.K.) FOR UP TO FIVE RECORDS (45 rpm) or ONE LP RECORD).
U.K. POSTAGE (1st Class) and PACKAGING AT COST – NO PROFIT IS MADE ON THE PRICE:
Large letter charges for a 7” record (20 cm x 20 cm x 1 cm) and weight up to half a kilo is £1.68 First Class. A strong mailing envelope with a 7” stiffener costs 22 pence from Ebay suppliers, making the total postage for a 45 rpm record £1.90. I will supply up to five records for that price.
Parcel post charges for a 12” record (34 cm x 34 cm x 2 cm) and weight up to 2 kilos is £3.30 First Class. A strong mailing envelope with a 12” stiffener costs 32 pence from Ebay suppliers, making the total postage for an LP/12 inch 33 rpm record £3.60. I will supply up to three records for that price.
DISCOUNTS OFFERED FOR LARGER BUYS and JOB LOTS, WITH POSTAGE COSTS AT THE LOWEST I CAN FIND ACCORDING TO WEIGHT. I regret this offer is for UK sale only,
EUROPEAN and OVERSEAS POSTAGE and PACKAGING:
I will post anywhere, but as the price varies considerably from around £5.00 to £20.00, all International customers should enquire about actual post rates before bidding and must wait for a final invoice.
Due to a number of lost items in the mail over the past six months, I will now only supply BRAZIL, ITALY and SPAIN by tracked and signed for mail so that I am covered for the loss. These rates are expensive, and the price starts at £10.50. You do still get up to five singles or three items for that price so you are advised to make the most out of the cost. When Ebay starts playing fair with the seller, and accepts U.K. law (the carrier has responsibility for lost mail, NOT the seller), I will reconsider. The latest loss was one too many. Sorry.
WHO AM I?
HonestDave'sRecords has been successfully selling 1950's and 1960's singles and LP's at record fairs for nearly 40 years and on Ebay since 2006. In fact I handle anything between 1954 and 1973, from any number of fields including: Pop, Beat, Soul, Northern Soul, Tamla Motown, Reggae, Instrumentals, Solo Girls and Boys and Girl Groups. If you can read backwards, this might be useful: 70903334570. I buy at least 2,000 new items a year so it is impossible for me to remember just what is in stock and what is not. If you have a specific requirement, please contact me and I'll see if I can find it. If you are lucky and I have the item, I will load it on Ebay for you. Although I have reduced my stock recently, at any one time there will be at least three thousand (3,000) singles and EP's, and just a few LP's these days
My vinyl prices range from clearance items (£1.95 - £2.75), huge numbers in the next range up (£2.95 - £4.95), good, collectable items in the pop, instrumental, beat, girl groups and soloists, straight soul and northern soul (£5.95 - £19.95), and then the really rare ones from £20.00 all the way up to £150.00! 99% of my stock is made up of UK issues, though a few will be American or European and the description will say so; most will have the original or an exact replica of the company sleeve it was issued in and almost all will have the original centre intact - very few more desirable ones may be sold with no centre.
My lowest sales category is Very Good although only a few will actually be found listed as low as that. I try to ensure that all items should be in Very Good Plus, Excellent or Near Mint condition as defined by several different pricing manuals, and then I will beat their prices. I never use the condition Mint as it cannot be proved to my satisfaction. However, there is always the odd bad one that slips through the net when you deal in the numbers I do, and don't forget that even in the Sixties, duff copies came off the production line and these could easily still be out there.
If you should find any of my records are not as described, don't rush to leave negative feedback or poor marks on my seller ratings - I hate this system and it achieves nothing, despite what Ebay may think. It causes only bad feeling and solves nothing! Honest Dave offers a 100% money back guarantee, including all postage costs to any unsatisfied buyer. I will NOT require the item back - if it isn't any good to you, then it certainly isn't for me, so throw it in the bin.
