Description
Hello and welcome to my auction.
I have taken many pictures of this record as seen above.
I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
I never ship records inside the picture covers or LP jackets.
Two Tone Records - 9 x 7" Singles Job Lot.
A nice set of singles to DJ with.
1, The Specials - Gangsters / The Selecter - The Selecter - Chrysalis Netherlands pressing with picture cover. The disc is a little dished, this is not bad and the record plays great. This is only found when looked at very close.
2, The Specials - Rat Race / Rude Boys Outta Jail - Two Tone silver labels - TT 11 - French pressing with french company cover.
3, The Specials - Too Much Too Young / Guns Of Navarone / Longshot Kick The Bucket / Liquidator - UK silver labels - TT 7 with UK company cover.
4, The Specials - Do Nothing / Maggie`s Farm - UK silver labels - TT 16 with UK company cover.
5, The Beat - Tears Of A Clown / Ranking Full Stop - UK silver labels - TT 6 with UK company cover.
6, Madness, The Prince / Madness - French pressing with large center hole. Silver labels TT 3 with French company cover.
7, The Selecter, Missing Words / Carry Go Bring Come - French pressing with UK cover. TT 10 -This has the miss-pressing label with Nissing Words credit.
8, The Selecter - Three Minute Hero / James Bond -UK pressing with silver labels and UK cover - TT 8.
9, The Selecter - On My Radio . Too Much Pressure - German pressing with blue Chrysalis labels. This is in a picture cover.
The condition.
The records are in decent shape with some light wear only under halogen bulb with some very light marks. The records grade VG to VG+ condition. The records have no deep or nasty marks that stop play.
The covers have some normal age wear and grade around very good shape too.
.................................................................................
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
Thanks for looking.
