Description
With around 400 separate 45 records (waxed in-between the early 1960s and the mid-1980s) the hyperactive Wienerlied label REX ROVAL probably will be best remembered for releasing Viennese Rock-N-Roll legend Hannes Patek as well as the demented outlaw anthem “Blue-Jean-Jack” by Dolf Kauer (comped on “Schnitzelbeat Vol. 1”). Up for auction are 9 rare 7” singles that define the “softer sound” of the record company: Wienerlied, Folk, Couplet, Cabaret and Schlager-Pop. File next to: Jörg Maria Berg, Hans Eidherr, Elfie Friedrich, Josef Kaderka, Rudi Kreuzberger, Hermann Leopoldi, Charly Mayrhofer, Rudi Meixner, Hans Moser, Hansl Schmid & Kurt Sowinetz.
