Description

An original 1st MONO press of OLDIES on UK Parlophone from 1966. Matrix 1G/1G. Please note the publishing credits are all found on the left side of the labels [as you find only find at 1st issue]. I'd love to say that all copies from this period were pressed solid like this example - but that's not always the case. By all means take a punt on a random copy online....if you like. OR you could come to us and snag the best the sixties has to offer with full guarantee you are dealing with a full tested cracking copy. The vinyl comes housed in an original G&L Mono cover. We an original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In really very nice condition and has only seen light use. Excellent lustre. Under close inspection there are a couple of very superficial scuff/trail marks per side. Let me assure you these are incredibly slight and are getting nowhere near these deep grooves. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least,  EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Michelle [the super fussy track] plays really well - basically as clean as you will ever find. The other fussy tracks are Submarine & Rigby - which both play back absolutely superb. Yesterday is an absolute pain to find playing well - this example aces it. Literally superb - I have never heard it better. Really impressive throughout. All the Beatles classic hits in mono from 1966. Hard to resist! Do you seriously wanna risk losing out on this one..?
Cover (Vg+) The front looks very nice and flat with just one thumbnail. The rear looks fine, but is exhibiting some ageing apparent more so in the upper sector. Minimal edge wear and firm openings. The spine is 95% intact. The cover still retains excellent rigidity. 
Inner (Vg+) A touch of ageing , but no splits.
