A FLOCK OF SEAGULLS 1982 Jive Original US Pressing JV-66000 New Wave Synth Pop
DESCRIPTION
Released in 1982, A Flock of Seagulls is the band’s debut album and a defining release of early-’80s new wave and synth-pop. Built on icy synthesizers, chorus-heavy guitars, and strong melodic hooks, the album became a cornerstone of the era and a staple of early MTV rotation.
The record includes the band’s most enduring tracks, including “I Ran (So Far Away),” “Space Age Love Song,” and “Telecommunication,” blending futuristic production with accessible pop songwriting. This copy stands out for its exceptional overall condition and completeness, making it a strong collector-grade example of the original U.S. issue.
This is the original United States 1st pressing on Jive Records, distributed by Arista, identified by the correct U.S. catalog number, labels, inner sleeve, and matrix information. A clean, early U.S. copy of an essential 1980s album.
