You are bidding on a LP vinyl record issued by FRUITS DE MER. This label specializes in cover versions of mainly psychdelic and progressive rock of the late '60s/early 1970's. Their records are highly sought by collectors due to the low number of copies they press (usually 300 to 500 of each title) and to the high quality they put into the artwork and manufacturing. The majority of their catalogue is on colored vinyl. Many of their releases include a "freebie" such as a sticker or poster.All photos in this listing are of the actual record and color of vinyl you will receive. Most records were played once carefully by me and recorded to CD. In some cases they may be unplayed but for consistency I am listing all as being in NEAR MINT condition.


A PHASE WE'RE GOING THROUGH - FRUITS DE MER VOLUME 11. ONLY 500 COPIES WERE PRESSED IN 2010. ALL WERE ISSUED ON COLORED VINYL. OF THE 500 COPIES, APPARENTLY ONLY 3 COPIES WERE PRESSED IN YELLOW (AND 3 WERE SUBSEQUENTLY SOLD AS PER POPSIKE),the vast majority of them were grey marbled vinyl,with ten each in green,red and purple marbled vinyl. THE COPY I AM SELLING IS ON PINK MARBLE VINYL (YES, PINK AND NOT RED) AND MAY BE THE RAREST PRESING OF THE LOT! PLEASE VERIFY E-BAY AND POPSIKE AND YOU WILL NOT FIND ANY SOLD ON PINK OR PINK MARBLE VINYL! MY COPY WAS PLAYED ONLY ONCE AND I PLAYED IT BECAUSE I NOTICED A VERY MINISCULE CHIP ON ONE SIDE OF THE VINYL (SEE PICTURE). I PLAYED THE RECORD ON BOTH SIDES AND THIS IMPERFECTION DID NOT AFFECT THE PLAY OF THE DISC. YOU CAN TELL BY LOOKING AT THE PICTURE THAT THE CHIP ISN'T ON THE ACTUAL GROOVES OF THE RECORD. I THEN CONTACTED FDM AS I HAD I RECEIVED THIS COPY DIRECTLY FROM ONE OF THE OWNERS OF THE LABEL. HE ASSURED ME THAT THIS WAS A VERY RARE COLOR FOR THIS RECORD SO I DECIDED TO KEEP IT INSTEAD OF RETURNING IT FOR A 'REGULAR' COLORED COPY. POSTER INCLUDED.
