Description

You are bidding on a factory sealed copy of the amazing 1992 Phish album, A Picture of Nectar. This is the limited edition 2014 reissue mastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering, pressed on two 180g audiophile grade vinyl LPs. Lacquers cut At Bernie Grundman Mastering from the original 1/2" Stereo Master Reels. In other words: This is a true AAA release, sourced from the actual analog tape and mastered directly to vinyl, bypassing the digital realm altogether. This is as close to hearing the master tape as you can get.

Note: I actually have a copy of my own that I’ll never sell, so I can comment with authority on the sound. This is not only the best sounding of all the Phish vinyl remasters, it’s one of the best sounding LPs I own. Guitars are crunchy and velvety round; bass is precise, well defined and commanding; keys tinkle and sparkle like you’ve never heard before. And Fishman’s quicksilver drumming must be experienced to be believed. Positively three dimensional all around. This is why people listen to AAA vinyl.

These Nectar LPs are becoming very scarce, especially sealed, so get it now while you can before the price goes even higher. This is an investment.

This factory sealed LP set is from a smoke-free, pet-free home. All of my records are meticulously cared for, stored and handled perfectly. Good luck, everyone.

Note: This was actually purchased at Randall’s Island when they sold 2500 copies early. I guess they didn’t sell literally copies 1-2500, because this is in the 3000s, but I can confirm that it was indeed part of that initial batch—since I was there and bought two of these!
